Carbon Paper Embroidery

A great way to have a temporary image on your fabric for free-hand machine embroidery is to use carbon paper. Just take a spare sheet of carbon paper and place it between the sheet with the image and the fabric. Trace the image with a pen, pencil or pointy stick to activated the carbon paper. You will then have a carbon copy of the picture on the fabric that comes when washed.

Burning in my own fire.

Not too long ago, I went to watch my friends play at the Green Room in Montreal. The light was low and flash was not to effective. I thought this was an excellent opportunity to play with the extended exposure setting of my camera.
